Purpose

The Development Company of Evros S.A. has as its main purpose the technical support of the local development programs concerning the prefecture of Evros. Its activities include:

Undertaking Research and Studies: Conducting research and studies related to local development and self-government, with the aim of collecting data and providing analyses that will contribute to informed decision-making.

Training Programmes: Designing and implementing training programs to educate and train local government officials and other stakeholders to improve their skills and enhance their effectiveness.

Local Government Support: Providing technical and advisory support to municipalities and communities in the prefecture in order to successfully plan and implement development initiatives.

Local Development Programmes: Participate in and support the development and implementation of programs designed to improve the economic, social and environmental condition of the area.

Through these activities, Evros Development Company S.A. aims to strengthen the local economy, improve infrastructure and empower local communities.
